This 1.5-month program links estimating and costing with day-to-day site execution. You practice preparing BOQs, scheduling labour and materials, supervising progress, coordinating with clients, and preparing billing documents used on landscape construction and maintenance projects.
Module 1: Project Scope, Planning & Site Familiarisation

- Cross-check quantities before submission and procurement
Module 3: Material Calculation, Costing & Rate Analysis
- Calculate material requirements with reasonable wastage factors
- Build rate analysis for labour, plant, and material components
- Compare vendor quotes and update project cost sheets
- Track contingencies and approved variations
Module 4: Labour Planning, Scheduling & Site Supervision
- Plan gang sizes and skills needed by work stage
- Prepare simple bar charts or weekly work schedules
- Supervise quality, safety, and progress on active sites
- Record daily work done, delays, and material consumption
Module 5: Client Coordination & Project Documentation
- Conduct progress meetings and agree next-stage milestones

- Prepare snag lists and punch items before handover
- Assemble as-built notes and maintenance handover packs
Module 6: Measurement, Billing & Project Close-Out
- Measure executed work against contract BOQ items
- Prepare running account, stage bills, and final invoices
- Reconcile costs against estimates at project completion
- Archive project files for audits and future tenders
