Goat & Sheep Farming Technology
Learn scientific management practices for small-ruminant farming. Cover breed selection, housing, feeding, fodder planning, breeding, kid/lamb management, health care, vaccination awareness, deworming, biosecurity, records and enterprise economics. Develop practical skills for managing goat and sheep units as sustainable rural and commercial enterprises.
You manage goats and sheep as grazing or stall-fed units: choosing breeds for meat, milk, or fibre goals, planning fodder year-round, and handling kidding and lambing seasons safely. The course builds observation skills for body condition and parasite risk, vaccination awareness, and farm records—always escalating treatment decisions to a qualified veterinarian.
